The map of family venues in Jakarta has refreshed in the past 18 months, with several new openings and a wave of programme refreshes in malls across South and Central Jakarta. The list below is a where-to-go guide, organised by venue rather than by category. For the longer, established list across indoor, nature, sport, and culture, the 35 things to do with kids in Jakarta guide is a useful companion.
The new and recently refreshed
Twelve venues that have either opened, expanded, or significantly refreshed in the past year and a half.
Kiztopia
The first Indonesia site of the Singapore indoor-play brand. Twenty-two themed zones across ball pits, slides, role-play stations, and structured movement areas. Strong on motor skills and social play, with party packages for weekend bookings.
Pororo Park
Korean-cartoon-themed soft play, designed around Pororo the Penguin. Petty's Jungle Gym, Crong's Trampoline, Loopy's Kitchen, and a daily live Pororo show. The cleanest soft-play option in PIM, best for toddlers and early primary.
SuperPark Indonesia
Finnish-designed indoor activity park, refreshed in 2025 with new stations. Three arenas (Game, Adventure, Freestyle) covering trampolines, climbing walls, pedal cars, and a flying-fox style zipline. The go-to for burning energy on a rainy Saturday.
Houbii Urban Adventure Park
Ropes course, ninja-warrior obstacles, parkour walls, and deep foam pits. Houbii is the venue for older children and tweens who have outgrown soft play, and one of the few that holds the attention of teenagers.
Snow World
Real snow at sub-zero temperatures, in a fully kitted-out indoor space. Sledging, snowman building, ice slides, and snowball fights. A novelty visit rather than a regular: rent the jackets at the door and stay around an hour.
Jakarta Aquarium and Safari
Indonesia's largest indoor "living planet." Coral, mangrove, and river zones with a 4D theatre and rotating mermaid and pearl-diver shows. Family-friendly dining inside the exhibit. Best paired with an early afternoon visit to avoid the post-school rush.
Bounce Street Asia
Trampoline park with foam pits, basketball hoops, dodgeball courts, climbing walls, and a ninja course. Sock requirement is strict (grip socks sold at the door). Birthday party rooms book up two to three weeks ahead.
ASHTA District 8 (SPAC8)
Less a kids' venue, more a cultured family afternoon. Rooftop garden, free reading space, rotating art workshops, and dining across the connected restaurants. Particularly good for families with one toddler and one tween who need different things.
Playtopia Adventure
Refreshed in late 2025 with a new water-coaster zone, giant slides, and walk-in bubble pools. A step up from standard soft play, with longer attention-holding for primary-aged children.
Ganara Art Studio
Ganara has expanded to four locations across South Jakarta. Pottery wheel and hand-building, painting, and structured sensory classes for younger children. Drop-in slots most weekends, plus structured term programmes for regulars.
Moja Museum
Retro roller-skating rink combined with rotating interactive art installations. Skates included with entry. Strong as a half-day outing for a child plus visiting cousins or a small birthday group.
Jungle Padel Kids Academy
Padel courts with a dedicated Kids Academy. Easier to pick up than tennis, and one of the few sports in Jakarta where the whole family can play together inside an hour. Weekend coaching slots fill the fastest.
