Admissions
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the relationship between ISJ and families from the point a place is accepted. For fee amounts and payment schedules, see the fees page. For questions, contact [email protected].
1. Application of Terms
A place at ISJ is accepted when a signed Offer and Acceptance Letter has been returned to the school and the required fees have been paid. These terms come into effect at that point and remain in place for the duration of the pupil's enrolment.
2. Fees and Payment
Fees are payable in full as invoiced. Current fee amounts and payment schedules are set out on the fees page.
A late payment charge of 2% per month applies to any outstanding balance after a 14-day grace period. ISJ reserves the right to withhold reports, assessments, or access to school systems where fees remain unpaid. Where fees remain outstanding for 60 days or more, ISJ may withdraw the pupil's place.
3. Notice of Withdrawal
One full term's written notice of withdrawal must be given to the admissions team at [email protected]. Where the required notice is not given, one full term's fees will be charged in lieu of notice.
4. Attendance, Conduct, and Expectations
All pupils and families are expected to follow ISJ's Behaviour Expectations and the Behaviour Policy. ISJ may review a pupil's placement where the school determines that the pupil's needs exceed what ISJ can reasonably provide.
5. Learning Needs and Disclosures
Families must disclose any known medical, learning, or additional needs at the point of application or as soon as they become known. ISJ will make reasonable adjustments to support all pupils. Specialist support that goes beyond what ISJ can provide in-house may carry a separate charge, which will be agreed with the family in advance.
6. Privacy and Data Use
ISJ processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice, which sets out what data is collected, how it is used, and the rights of families.
7. School Operations and Policy Updates
ISJ may update its policies from time to time. Current versions of all school policies are published on this website. Significant changes will be communicated to families directly. Continued enrolment constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
8. Force Majeure
In the event of school closure or a move to remote learning caused by circumstances outside ISJ's control, including but not limited to natural disaster, public health emergency, or government direction, fees remain payable in full. ISJ will continue to provide education in whatever form is available.
9. Photography and Communication
Pupils may be photographed during the course of normal school activities. Images may be used in school newsletters, on the school website, and in marketing materials. Families who wish to opt out should notify [email protected] in writing. Families are responsible for keeping their contact details up to date with the school.
10. Complaint Resolution
Concerns should be raised with the class teacher in the first instance. If the matter is not resolved, it should be escalated to the Academic Director. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and will be acknowledged within three working days. See also the Complaints Policy.
11. Communication with the School
Administrative and admissions matters should be directed to [email protected]. Queries about classroom learning, homework, or a pupil's progress should be directed to the class teacher.
